Description
Here is a nice little Boulder opal Cabochon. It was tumbled finished and it still has a bit of rough areas to it. Almost no fire color but there is some there along one of the sides. A nice crafting piece or wire project when you need a Ironstone opal in the mix. I believe it to have a lot of contrast and would show off very well in a setting or crafting jewelry project. Boulder Opal can come in many forms and can produce some of the most brillant fire in all of the Opals found around the world. When I see these opals at gem-shows I get really excited.
